GEN: and one 16-26. The age is consistant with a 1788 birth date. The earliest wedding date was 1804, however he would have only
GEN: been 16 years old. A more likely date would have been between 1806 and 1809.
GEN: The tax lists of Warwick Twp. show Ludwig Muecke as a resident for the years 1811 through the year 1813. The 1814 listing shows
GEN: Ludwig as being a cordwainer by occupation, but the name is lined through, indicating that he was no longer in the township.
GEN: At the time of the 1820 Census there is a Ludwig Mickey on page 279 in Northampton Co., Plainfield Twp., Pa. Since this is the
GEN: area the family came from originally, it is quit possible this is our lost uncle.
GEN: By the 1830 Census Ludwig is known as Lewis Mickey, and is on page 82 in Plainfield Twp., Northampton Co., Pa. It appears as if

GEN: There was a Notice in The Weekly Messenger of the German Reformed Church on Sept 25, 1839 that Lewis Micke Esq. pledged 3 lbs.
